Reflexology is a specialised massage of reflex points on the feet. It can stimulate the body to restore and maintain balance by promoting the body to heal itself. Reflexology is safe within pregnancy but certain points on the feet are avoided until pregnancy is full term. Reflexology can also be used to promote balance in the body for
pre-conception and fertility. £40.00

Acupressure to aid the induction of labour...

Will only be performed once full term in pregnancy and works through stimulation of precise points along energy pathways on the feet and legs. Acupressure aids and encourages the body to release prostaglandins which is the hormone that stimulates labour. £50.00

Swedish Massage...

Massage is the art of healing through touch. Swedish massage is a deep pressure massage to balance the body and mind. Swedish massage is carried out on a specialised pregnancy couch. Massage can also be used to promote balance in the body for pre-conception and fertility. £40.00

Moxibustion...

This is a safe and natural way of aiding a breech baby (bottom down) to turn cephalic (head down.) A fragrant herb is burnt over specific acupuncture points, to relax the muscles in the uterus allowing the baby to turn. Best results are before 36 weeks pregnant but babies have turned after this gestation. £55.00 (Including stick)

The use of heated stones on the body is as old as man itself and enhances a reflexology treatment. This treatment is very relaxing and can help the body to restore balance. £55.00

Indian Head Massage (IHM)...

IHM has been practised in India for over 1000 years and is a simple but effective treatment that helps promote hair growth as well as providing relief from aches and pains, especially stress. IHM is carried out seated and incorporates the upper back, shoulders, neck, head and face. £40.00

Originating from the "Hopi Tribe", candles made from natural products are inserted in to the ear to alleviate conditions such as sinusitis, stress, headaches and excessive wax build up. Included in the treatment is a facial massage. £30.00
